This year’s Rotary Dream Home, built by Cook Homes, features 2,900 square feet of comfort for living and family gathering. The exterior features French Country Blend Stone, a front porch and showcases the old farmhouse styling of mortar called “Bag-joint”.

The concept that the Design Team (Michelle Heer-Maue and Karen Hohenadel of Heer’s Interiors) chose this year was to “Bring Comfort Home.” This is best interpreted by creating a space in which company will feel like family. It is all about feeling “at home” with ease, yet with all the comforts of modern technology.

This year’s home takes a fresh approach to the way you live within a country farmhouse feel. Farmhouse chic decor balances elegant and beautiful items with the old, rustic and cozy feel of a country farmhouse.

The interior of this home boasts many wonderful upgrades and once again a variety of creative ideas.

The main level offers a comfortable living space and showcases a truly exceptional gathering/dining area with a less traditional fireplace ocation. Complete with rustic hardwood flooring and antique pewter farmhouse cabinetry, granite counters and an apron sink, the kitchen truly becomes the “heart of the home.”

The second level consists of three ample bedrooms, a main bath and a media space which has been transformed into a fun and interactive playroom. The master suite is truly a haven and contains a beautiful travertine bathroom inclusive with jacuzzi, bodyspray shower and his and hers separate cottage farmhouse vanities.

The 2010 Rotary Dream Home is a perfect place to recharge with family and friends, and find laughter and sharing!
